Denise Cummins

Literacy & Numeracy Support

Denise works four days a week in the school dedicating the mornings to providing support to the students needing extra help with literacy, numeracy, and other student specific learning needs.

A little about Denise

Denise has lived in the Akaroa area for 18 years, her 4 children have all attended Duvauchelle School.  Denise's involvment started as a member of the Board of Trustees, she served on the board for over 10 years resigning her position when her youngest moved onto the high school.

Denise first started working as a Teacher's Aide about 12 years ago.
