News From the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees currently consists of Four parent elected members, one Co-opted member, one Staff Representative and the Principal.  The members represent a good cross section of the community - farmers, business owners, male and female.

They meet twice a term.

 

Craig Rhodes - Chair

Craig, previously a skipper with Akaroa Dophins now has a local retail business.  He has three school age children.

 

Andrew Humm

Andrew is a farm manager in Pigeon Bay.  He has one child.

 

Miriam Armstrong

Miriam is involved with Playcentre, she has two children, the eldest currently attends the school.  

 

Emma Menzies

Emma and her husband farm in Menzies bay, they have two boys both attending the School.

 

Gus Liddle

Gus is a farmer, he has three children, two attend Duvauchelle School.

 

Karen Bennett

Karen is the Staff Rep on the board.

 

Hamish Vogan

Hamish is a dairy farmer in the Duvauchelle Area, he has a large family with 3 Children attending the school.
