Duvauchelle Primary School
Kiaora, my name is Sally Ashwell and I am delighted to be the Year 0-3 kaiako at the beautiful Duvauchelle kura.Manapouri, Fiordland has been home and where my two children were lucky to grow up. During this time I was a reliever at various schools, became an adept taxi driver for groups of basketball and parkour lads, and hauled a horse float to distant shows and clinics at absurdhours of the morning. Ohai in Southland is the warm community I have resided in more recently, teaching wonderful tamariki in Nightcaps.Banks Peninsula is the most beautiful place. I shall take full advantage of Horomaka beach walks and tracks. The sea air and inspiring views are so refreshing. I am fortunate to have solid friendships here, and with such kindness I’ve felt since arriving, I am meeting more good people. Iam most especially looking forward to getting to know the tamariki in our class of Tui, and building strong relationships with their whanau.
